About VDS

VDSは、2018年に設立された東京・亀有を拠点とするレコードショップ。 2021年に東ロンドン、2024年に東京に実店舗をオープン。
主に日本とヨーロッパで集めたレコードやオーディオを取り扱い、リスニングの価値観を軸に、10年、20年経っても愛することができる、人生を通して寄り添ってくれる音楽をテーマにセレクトしている。ロックからジャズ、アヴァンギャルド、現代音楽、レゲエ、アフリカ音楽、民謡、世界のフォークミュージックまで。 音楽を通して知恵や思想を国境や時代を越えて運び、不変的な価値を届けていく活動をしている。

VDS is a Tokyo-based record shop established in 2018, with a second location opening in East London in 2021. VDS primarily sources and distributes records from Japan and Europe, focusing on providing valuable listening experiences for our customers. We carefully select music that remains meaningful even after 10 or 20 years—music that stays with you throughout your life. Our collection spans a wide range of genres, including rock, jazz, avant-garde, contemporary music, reggae, African music, traditional Japanese music, minyo, and world folk music. Through the records, VDS aims to transport a diverse range of wisdom and ideas across borders, delivering lasting value to the people.
